Little Rose is tucked in behind Rose Diner and Bar on Bay Street. The diner is recently opened after extensive renovations with fine fare - the cafe is a simpler affair with baked goodies, breakfasts, sandwiches specialty coffee etc... Here are a few snaps.

This is an undeniably beautiful and unique space. The curvaceous counter dominates the cafe. Slotted wood panels clad the ceiling. Bauhaus inspired stools have been commissioned as have the various bespoke light fittings. This has been quite some undertaking and the result is cohesive and attractive and undeniably mold-breaking...

Clement Coffee has thrown open it's huge door to reveal its tiny coffee-centric self. There is a roaming offering of coffee for you espresso based drinks - always two to choose from. Filter coffee and take home beans also available. Love the bespoke touches - the water tap, the wall mounted cake cabinet, the stained glass porthole window (was fitted the day after these photos were taken sorry!) Another quality coffee joint for South Melbourne...
